The investigative authorities of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow have charged the former head of one of the divisions of Russian Railways with accepting a bribe (part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the report says.
It is noted that in May 2024, he received a bribe of 3 million rubles for approving cargo transportation plans. The crime was solved by the joint efforts of the investigators and the FSB. The accused has pleaded not guilty, and the investigation will file a motion for his arrest.
