OREANDA-NEWS  Over the past 12 hours, 33 percent of the monthly precipitation rate has fallen in Moscow. This was stated by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, in his Telegram channel.

22 millimeters of precipitation fell at the Tushino weather station, 24 millimeters in Butovo, and 26 millimeters in Baltschug and VDNKh. In the Moscow region, the heaviest precipitation was recorded in Yegoryevsk — 25 millimeters, Novo-Jerusalem — 26 millimeters, Serpukhov — 28 millimeters and Dolgoprudny — 34 millimeters.

According to the forecaster, heavy rains in the metropolitan area will continue until the morning of Tuesday, April 5. During this time, another 20 millimeters of precipitation may fall.

Earlier, forecaster Alexander Shuvalov warned that waist-deep puddles could form in Moscow during the rains.
