OREANDA-NEWS About a hundred migrant workers were brought to justice and subsequently expelled from the country for violating the regime of stay and illegal labor activity in a warehouse in Koledino (Moscow region), said Tatyana Petrova, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.

"As a result of the raid, 96 migrant workers from Asia, Latin America and North Africa were brought to administrative responsibility. 46 protocols have been drawn up against them for violating the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and 96 for illegal employment under Article 18.10 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation," Petrova told reporters.

The representative of the department noted that an administrative fine of 5,000 rubles was imposed on each violator, followed by forced expulsion from the country.

Currently, police officers are preparing to bring to administrative responsibility under Article 18.15 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation an employer who illegally used the labor of foreign citizens, Petrova stressed.
