OREANDA-NEWS   The Kyrgyz special services detained Natalia Sekerina, an employee of the Russian House, in Osh on suspicion of recruiting mercenaries. This was reported to TASS by the Kyrgyz Supreme Court.

It is reported that the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek considered the petition of the investigator of the Main Investigative Department of Kyrgyzstan and chose a preventive measure for Sekerina in the form of detention until June 17, 2025. The court also said that the employee of the Russian House is suspected of recruiting, financing and training mercenaries for use in armed conflicts of other states or with the aim of overthrowing state power. She faces a prison sentence of 7 to 10 years.

Four other people were also detained in this case, including an employee of the press service of the Osh City Hall.

Earlier, Kyrgyz Ambassador Kubanychbek Bokontaev appealed to the Russian authorities about the detention of a dozen citizens of the Central Asian republic in the Bodost bathhouse in Moscow. He expressed concern and appealed to the Russian side with a request for an objective and fair consideration of this issue.
