The announcement was made on the official channel of the local authorities in Makh.

The flooding of the lower areas has already been recorded.

People have been advised to act without delay and to take the following items with them: documents, money, essential medicines, food and supplies, phone chargers, and warm clothes.

Before leaving, they were asked to remember to turn off the electricity and gas, as well as to close the windows and doors tightly.

Temporary accommodation centers have been set up at 30 Oktyabrskaya Street in Vitim and 16 Tsentralnaya Street in Peleduy.

The administration also noted that the energy companies in Western Yakutia have been put on high alert and are ensuring the safe operation of their facilities during the spring floods.

Earlier, abnormal rainfall events occurred in Dagestan, causing widespread flooding in the region. It was the largest rainfall event in more than 100 years.
