OREANDA-NEWS  In St. Petersburg, FSB officers detained the head of the 178th Military Representative Office of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Captain 2nd Rank Vladimir Nikitin, in a bribery case. This is reported by Fontanka.

According to investigators, the military man received a particularly large bribe from a representative of a commercial organization. For this money, he had to freely accept the electronic component base used under the state defense order. The amount of the bribe is not specified.

Earlier it was reported that the prosecutor had requested 16 years and 50 million rubles in fines for the former head of the Defense Ministry's scientific center.
