OREANDA-NEWS. Apple will close 17 of 20 stores located in France as the country’s authorities introduce the regime of self-isolation amid rising cases of coronavirus infection.

According to Reuters agency, in France, only three Apple stores, using extended format Express, will remain open. Customers will need to make appointments in advance to visit the store to pick up their orders. According to the head of the retail company, such a system allows serving customers in areas with a large number of cases of coronavirus infection with observing necessary precautions to ensure the health of both clients and employees.

On the night of October 30, a second self-isolation regime was introduced in France against the background of the wide spread of a new disease. The quarantine regime will be in power at least until December 1.
