OREANDA-NEWS   The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has warned of sanctions in case of discriminatory treatment of Russians and Belarusians admitted to competitions under the auspices of the FIS. This is stated in the organization's document.

"Any discriminatory or provocative behavior towards an athlete of Russian or Belarusian sports citizenship who is allowed to participate in competitions as an Individual Neutral Athlete in accordance with this policy is subject to disciplinary proceedings for violating Article 3.5 of the FIS Universal Code of Ethics," the document says.

Earlier, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ordered the FIS to allow Russians and Belarusians to participate in international competitions. Athletes from these countries will be able to compete as individual neutral athletes.
