OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio are meeting in Kuala Lumpur, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

It takes place on the sidelines of ASEAN events.

Prior to that, the diplomats had spoken on the phone several times and met in person for the first time at the Russian-American talks in Riyadh in February. Then the parties agreed to start work on normalization of relations between the countries.
