OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian Defense Ministry has filed a lawsuit against the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant. 390 million rubles were demanded from the manufacturer of small aircraft and anti-drone complexes, RIA Novosti reports.

The claim was submitted to the Moscow Arbitration Court on March 28 and has not yet been accepted for consideration. The grounds for submitting it have not yet been clarified.

Earlier it became known that the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) will receive another 10.4 billion rubles for finalizing the Baikal light multipurpose aircraft project, which is to replace the Soviet An-2 (Corncob). Development work under the contract should be completed by December 17, 2027, that is, in almost three years.

In the coming years, Russian airlines will begin to abandon domestic Ansat helicopters due to the impossibility of certified engine maintenance and replacement of parts. Next year, six helicopters will have to be landed, 11 in 2027, three in 2028, and 25 helicopters in 2029.
