OREANDA-NEWS  Subtropical weather will set in Moscow in the coming days. Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather center, warned the capital's residents about this in his Telegram channel.

Muscovites will plunge into the subtropics at the beginning of the month, but only next week. August 1 and 2, which will fall on the weekend, will be marked by a cold snap. If the thermometer stays at 31 degrees on July 30 and 31, the temperature will drop to plus 26 degrees on the weekend. The weather forecaster calls this weather comfortable. Rains will also resume: precipitation will be short-lived, but thunderstorms will occur in some areas.

Starting from Monday, August 3, the capital will warm up to 29 degrees again. Thus, the long-term climatic norm of the beginning of August will be exceeded, the difference will be 3-4 degrees. The rains and thunderstorms will not come to naught, and with them the weather in Moscow will become more humid and stuffy.

Record precipitation will be left behind: August will be short of rain. This forecast was made by Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau. The forecaster finds it difficult to say how big this deficit will be.
