OREANDA-NEWS   Alcohol consumption per capita has decreased 1.7 times in Russia over the past 16 years, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko has said.

"Alcohol consumption per capita (in liters of ethanol), 13.7 (2009) - 8.06 (2025), a decrease of 1.7 times," the minister said in a presentation presented during the plenary session of the Healthy Society forum.

The Healthy Society Forum is taking place in Moscow on March 16-17. It will be attended by delegations from 15 countries.
