For example, according to her, European countries are likely to hesitate to impose blocking duties on imports from China and India, following the example of the United States.

"Most likely, American and European sanctions will be imposed simultaneously, but not symmetrically. The EU will limit itself to targeted measures against banks, as well as companies that buy and process Russian oil," she said.

According to the Politico newspaper, the countries of the European Union have begun preparing a new package of sanctions against China for refusing to stop purchasing Russian oil and supplying dual-use goods to Russia. Similar sanctions, according to the sources of the publication, are possible in relation to India.
