OREANDA-NEWS A project for the development of the Russian shipbuilding industry until 2036 and for the future until 2050 has already been prepared, said Nikolai Patrushev, Assistant to the President of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Maritime Board.

"In order to take an integrated approach and long-term planning for the development of the shipbuilding industry, a draft strategy for the development of the shipbuilding industry for the period up to 2036 and beyond to 2050 has been prepared," Patrushev said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Maritime Board.

"In addition, the adoption of the law on Shipbuilding will help solve the problems that have accumulated in the industry. It is currently in the final stages of development," he added.
