OREANDA-NEWS  Kamaz, amid declining sales of heavy trucks in Russia, is considering introducing a 4-day schedule from June 1 and reducing the production plan for 2026, the company told RIA Novosti.

"Weak market growth prospects and pressure from the remnants of imported machinery from Chinese manufacturers require the company's management to take the necessary measures to reduce the annual production plan and provide for the possibility of introducing a one-day reduced working week from June 1," the report says.

At the same time, the company stressed that there is no talk of switching to a three-day work schedule, and the final decision will be made based on the results of an assessment of sales results for April and May.
