OREANDA-NEWS Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that at the moment the Kremlin does not see a trend associated with the alleged departure of dollar millionaires from the Russian Federation.

According to Peskov, now the topic of migration of wealthy compatriots is planned to be discussed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

“We do not notice such a trend, we do not know what kind of company it is that published such data, and, most importantly, based on what this company came to such conclusions,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.

At the same time, Peskov did not specify in what format this topic would be raised during the economic forum organized in St. Petersburg.

Earlier than the quarterly report of the British company Henley & Partners, it became known that more than 15 thousand dollar millionaires could leave Russia by the end of 2022. According to the organization's estimates, about 101 thousand residents of the Russian Federation have a fortune exceeding $1 million.
