OREANDA-NEWS  Denmark will not be able to protect Greenland from the claims of the United States, so it needs to be given independence and admitted to the EU, Rzeczpospolita writes, citing the words of retired Polish lieutenant Colonel Marcin Falinsky.

"We need to do something about this Greenland, because if we leave this territory to the Danes, unfortunately, we will lose. <...> If Greenland had gained independence and was preparing to join the EU and NATO in an accelerated manner, then Trump would not have been able to do anything," the newspaper quoted him as saying.
