OREANDA-NEWS  Russia systematically trains highly qualified workers at all levels, and these professions are becoming prestigious, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We systematically deal with the issue of training highly qualified workers. This is happening at all levels, and even now I don't want to list all the measures that are being taken in this area. Working professions are becoming prestigious, we record this accurately. They are becoming complex, so working professions are being acquired in specialized secondary schools," the head of state said during a direct line combined with an annual press conference.

He noted that specialization is a very important area of work for the authorities. The Russian Federation will hold competitions, improve the quality of education and combine the training process with practice at enterprises.
"We will continue to try to interest business representatives. But, by the way, they are great stakeholders themselves, and they have been involved in this work for a long time," Putin added.
