Putin to attend military parade in Beijing

OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of victory over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II in Beijing on Wednesday. Together with Chinese President Xi Jinping, North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un and other distinguished guests, he will watch the military parade in Tiananmen Square and attend a reception.
45 military units will take part in the parade in Beijing. The total time of the parade will be about 70 minutes. A total of 26 foreign heads of state and government will take part in the commemorative events.
As Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters, Putin will sit to the right of Chinese leader Xi Jinping at the military parade in Beijing, and North Korean State Affairs Chairman Kim Jong Un will take the place to the left of the Chinese president.
