Rosneft told about the development of cooperation with Moscow State University

OREANDA-NEWS Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov has been the key partner university of Rosneft since 2006. The company and the university cooperate in the field of personnel training, research activities, and the creation of infrastructure for joint projects.
Rosneft cooperates with the structural divisions of the university, as well as with Innopraktika, which unites the Center of the National Intellectual Reserve and the Fund for Support of Research and Project Activities of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "National Intellectual Development". The company specifically finances innovative programs and projects implemented jointly with the university, as well as provides charitable assistance to the university.
In order to attract young specialists with a high level of training to Rosneft's enterprises, the company annually conducts career guidance events for MSU students, organizes internships and industrial practices of students. The best students are paid corporate scholarships.
The Rosneft Scientific and Educational Center for Digital Technologies in the Oil and Gas Industry has been established at the Department of Geology and Geochemistry of Combustible Minerals of the Geological Faculty of Moscow State University. When training specialists, the center uses interdisciplinary approaches using modern digital technologies. The master's program "Digitalization in the field of geology of combustible minerals" is being implemented on the basis of the center. Modern software is used in the educational process, including the corporate software package of geological modeling "PH-GEOSIM". With the participation of industry experts, practitioners and specialists in the digital transformation of the company, undergraduates are involved in solving actual applied business problems in the field of digitalization.
Rosneft also supports the implementation of the Vernadsky project, which provides internships for students and teachers in leading Russian educational and scientific organizations. Within the framework of the project, a single portal for intellectual competitions and contests has also been created, contests of youth scientific and technical initiatives are held.
