OREANDA-NEWS  Russia's international reserves have reached a new record of $763.9 billion, the Central Bank said.

"As of the end of the day on December 26, 2025, international reserves amounted to 763.9 billion US dollars, having increased by 11.3 billion US dollars over the week, or 1.5%, mainly due to a positive revaluation," the regulator said.

As of December 19, they amounted to 752.6 billion dollars.

Russia's international reserves are highly liquid foreign assets held by the Central Bank and the government. They consist of monetary gold, special drawing rights, a reserve position in the IMF, and funds in foreign currency.

The year before last, international reserves increased by 1.8 percent and amounted to $609.1 billion as of January 1, 2025.
