OREANDA-NEWS  Sber became the first company to introduce an AI assistant into various banking products for young users. Children quickly pick up on any innovations and actively begin to interact with virtual assistants.

In November 2024, Sberbank, a virtual assistant adapted to the age group of 6-13 years old, whose voice was synthesized using the SaluteSpeech speech technology platform, "spoke" in the SberBank Kids children's banking application. Sberbank literally comes to life in the app and communicates with the child in real time.

In three months, Sberkot has been contacted 5 million times in the app, and the total number of questions asked has exceeded 12 million. Young users are interested in finances (how to check their balance, what to do if they lose their card or forget their PIN), share their successes with Sberbank, ask for advice, and discuss their favorite movies and games. The children see in him a true friend who is always there.

60 percent of the app's users on Android smartphones have used the virtual assistant, and 25 percent use it regularly. On average, a child communicates with Sberbank for 4 minutes.

When calling 900, the virtual assistant will speak in the voice of a savings account. Currently, 135,000 children contact the customer Care service every month, and 88 percent of their requests are already being handled at the virtual assistant level.
