OREANDA-NEWS   Russian pensioners who receive payments through the bank from the 1st to the 5th of each month will receive their May pension ahead of schedule. The funds will be credited to the relevant accounts on April 30. This is stated in the message of the Telegram channel of the Social Fund of Russia.

Other payments going through financial institutions will be transferred on the same date. Starting from May 6, the delivery of pensions through banks will resume according to the standard schedule.

Pensioners who receive money through the Russian Post will receive payments on their usual dates. Postmen will start delivering them on May 3. From the same time, it will be possible to receive funds at the cash desk of the branch.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab recalled that pensions for military and former law enforcement officers will be increased from October 1. The indexation rate is 4.5 percent (such expenses are prescribed in the federal budget), but it may be revised closer to October.
