OREANDA-NEWS  The government's subcommittee on Improving the sustainability of the financial sector and individual sectors of the economy discussed proposals for additional measures to support the metallurgical industry in Russia, including against the background of competition between domestic and foreign producers, the Russian government said.

"The meeting participants reviewed the current situation regarding the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Proposals on additional measures to support the industry were discussed, including in the context of competition between domestic producers of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and foreign market participants," the report said following the meeting.
