OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government supports a bill on the introduction of liability for foreigners for evading or waiving the obligation to undergo a medical examination, follows from the draft recall of the Cabinet of Ministers, the document is available to RIA Novosti.

"The government of the Russian Federation supports the bill," the document says.

It is noted that the draft law proposes to single out as a separate administrative offense the refusal and (or) evasion of a foreign citizen or stateless person from fulfilling the obligation to undergo a medical examination, establishing increased liability measures for these illegal acts compared to the liability measures provided for in Article 18.11 of the Administrative Code (Violation of Immigration Rules), and also to establish administrative responsibility for violating the established procedure for conducting medical examinations of foreign citizens or stateless persons.
