OREANDA-NEWS  The entire European portion of Russia is anticipated to experience a cooling trend in the near future, with the weather deviating from the typical May temperatures by 2 to 7 degrees. This prediction was shared with TASS by the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand.

According to the forecaster, the temperature in the central regions will be on average 4 to 7 degrees below the norm, while on the Volga, it will differ from the May climatic standards by 3 to 4 degrees. Additionally, in the Ural region, the air temperature will be 2 to 4 degrees below the average, and in the southern parts of European Russia, it will be 3 to 4 degrees cooler than usual.

"A clear pattern of cold weather, with negative temperature anomalies, will be observed across the European territory of Russia in the coming days," Vilfand stated.

Previously, Moscow was assured that October would return in May. According to Evgeny Tishkovets, a prominent meteorologist at the Phobos weather forecasting service, the weather will not be reminiscent of May, but rather it will be a classic October.
