The meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will consider 19 issues

OREANDA-NEWS The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will consider 19 issues at a meeting in Minsk on Tuesday, including financial support in industry and agriculture, the press service of the Government of Belarus reported.
"The agenda of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council includes 19 issues in the field of financial support in industry and agriculture, the development of an integrated information system, transport infrastructure and a number of others," the press service said.
Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin will take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the statement said.
Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Belarus reported that the agenda includes 18 issues.
In 2025, Belarus will preside over the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union. "The priorities of the Belarusian presidency are the development of technological potential and cooperation, improving food security, completing the formation of a single transport space, equalizing economic conditions, creating a transparent competitive environment, and protecting the domestic market. As well as the intensification of cooperation in the field of digital transformation, the development of international cooperation, and the transition to a new level of information interaction," the press service said.
The Intergovernmental Council is a body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), consisting of the heads of Government of the member States.
The EAEU includes five countries - Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The Association was created to form a single economic space and deepen cooperation between the states.
The upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental council will be the 44th in a row since the beginning of the work of the EAEU and the third this year. The previous meeting was held on August 14-15, 2025 in Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
