The Russian Pantsir used a new missile

OREANDA-NEWS The Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon system used a new anti-aircraft missile to repel an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta (RG).
It is noted that Pantsir hit the An-196 drone with a 57E6M missile. The new missile differs from the basic version by increasing the range and kinetic warhead to 40 kilometers. 57E6M destroys the target with a direct hit.
The Pantsir air defense missile system is designed for close-range protection of military and civilian facilities from air attack. The arsenal of the complex includes 12 anti-aircraft missiles and two 30-millimeter double-barreled cannons. Pantsir is equipped with a multi-channel target acquisition and tracking system.
