OREANDA-NEWS  A powerful storm destroyed the embankment in Sochi, damaging stalls, cafes and other facilities. This became known to the Telegram channel SHOT.

Due to bad weather, the water overflowed its banks and washed away the nearby buildings. In the footage shared by eyewitnesses, you can see the wreckage of structures and deck chairs lying on the shore. At the moment, the exits to the embankment have been blocked. A storm warning is in effect in the resort city, it will last until January 1.

Earlier it was reported that a hurricane-force wind that hit Sochi on the night of December 29 damaged power lines in several areas.
