OREANDA-NEWS  Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga sharply criticized the call of Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar to forgive Russia. The head of the Ukrainian diplomatic department posted his reaction on the social network X.

"Those who have not lost anyone in this war have no right to make such statements," he wrote.

Earlier, Blanchard said that the West needs to return to respect for international law and start looking for ways to communicate with Russia. According to him, Western countries will one day have to "forgive everything that happened."

Until then, Blanard will propose postponing consideration of the issue of new European Union (EU) sanctions against Russia. He believes that before sanctions, the problem related to the REPowerEU plan needs to be solved — it is designed to stop the import of gas, oil and nuclear fuel from Russia to Europe.
