OREANDA-NEWS The trade turnover between Russia and Turkey increased in physical terms in 2025, and investment cooperation is developing between the two countries, the Russian government said following a meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat.

The parties discussed the prospects of economic cooperation, including in the trade, financial, banking and industrial spheres.

"The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that trade and economic relations between the two countries remain dynamic. By the end of 2025, the Russian-Turkish trade turnover increased in physical terms. Investment cooperation between the two countries is developing, and the volume of accumulated Turkish direct investments in Russia is growing," the report says.
