OREANDA-NEWS  The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) dropped three smart aerial bombs on Russian targets — none of them reached their target. This follows from the message of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the Defense Ministry, all guided missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down by the air defense system. It is not specified which objects the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack, and what types of shells were used in this case. The Defense Ministry added that in addition to smart bombs, the air defense destroyed 293 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

It is known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces periodically use guided French Hammer bombs and American JSOW bombs. Their flight range is about 64 kilometers. Also, as military expert Anatoly Matviychuk noted, JDAM bombs can be used to strike. The Ukrainian Armed Forces use Su-24 and, probably, F-16 aircraft to launch them.

Earlier it was reported that Russia was subjected to a massive attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the background of the refusal of US President Donald Trump to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Budapest.
