OREANDA-NEWS  A herd of wild boars has captured a village in the Sverdlovsk region. The publication drew attention to the situation in the Russian region. Ura.ru.

We are talking about the village of Sagra. According to local residents, in 2024 the herd consisted of about 10 individuals, but a year later their number increased to 30-40. On the recording, taken by one of the locals from the window of the house, you can see several dozen wild boars racing through the streets of the village. "We are waiting for wild boars... Holy shit, there are definitely twenty of them! Where's the gun, huh? Here's a healthy [wild boar], look!" the man reacted emotionally.

Residents of Sagra complain that uninvited guests have ransacked all the vegetable gardens in the area, and also fear for their safety. "We have been living in a boar's siege for a whole day, we are afraid to walk. It is difficult for elderly people and children to get from the train to the farm and the village — they are constantly afraid of possible encounters with wild boars. We hope that no one will be harmed, and the wild boars will find their way into the forest and continue their gastronomic research without our harvests," they complain. Due to the invasion of wild animals, people asked for help from the Department for the Protection, Control and Regulation of Wildlife in the Sverdlovsk region.

Earlier in October, it was reported that bats began to attack apartments en masse in Moscow.
