OREANDA-NEWS  American director Woody Allen spoke about his trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. The cinematographer highly appreciated Russian cities, Izvestia reports.

Allen did not specify exactly when his last visit to Russia took place, but noted that he was pleased with the trip. "When I went to St. Petersburg, everything went amazing. We went to the ballet, it was good, the place was lively, people were having fun. It was a great experience," the director shared.

He added that he stayed in St. Petersburg for several days, after which he went to Moscow. In the capital, the cinematographer had a good time at several museums. "So, you know, I have only positive impressions of Moscow and St. Petersburg," Allen concluded.

Earlier, American action star Mark Dacascos, who came to the Moscow International Film Week, said that Americans don't know much about Russia.
