Another Yeltsin Center employee will go on trial

OREANDA-NEWS Vyacheslav Shmyrov, the head of the Yeltsin Center film club, will go on trial for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. About this was reported in the joint press service of the courts of the Sverdlovsk region.
The case of an administrative offense has been submitted to the Verkh-Isetsky District Court of Yekaterinburg. Shmyrov is charged under Article 20.3.3 ("Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Russian Armed Forces") THE Criminal Code OF THE Russian Federation.
The court hearing is scheduled for September 3.
On August 20, the Verkh-Isetsky District Court of Yekaterinburg fined Lyudmila Telen, the first deputy director of the Yeltsin Center, 45 thousand rubles. She was found guilty in the case of discrediting the Russian army. According to lawyer Mikhail Biryukov, his client made a repost of the anti-war publication of Tatiana Yumasheva, daughter of the first president of Russia Boris Yeltsin, on Facebook (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized in the Russian Federation as extremist and banned).
