Puchkov called Roblox the main children's game. "For a child, it's a whole world, just like any toy, only it's even deeper, because he's building something there, making connections. It's the whole world to him, and you just turned it off," he said, adding that he felt sorry for the children in this situation.

In addition, Goblin described the restriction of access to certain resources in Russia with the words "cutting off the tail of a cat piece by piece." According to the blogger, the policy regarding platform blocking should be more targeted and unified.

Earlier, Ekaterina Mizulina, the head of the Safe Internet League (LBI), said that in recent days she had received 63,000 letters from schoolchildren, students and their parents amid the blocking of some online resources. According to her, the restrictions imposed do not solve the problem of child safety.

The blocking of Roblox became known on December 3. According to Roskomnadzor, among other things, the platform posted calls for illegal acts of a violent nature and materials promoting LGBT people (the international LGBT public movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
