Microsoft fixed an old Windows bug

OREANDA-NEWS Microsoft has revealed that it has finally fixed the Windows update bug. This is reported by the Windows Central edition.
We are talking about the problem of updating the operating system (OS). During the installation process, the Windows update may prompt the user to complete the update by clicking on the "Update and shut down" button. It is assumed that the computer must install the necessary files and shut down. However, the device reboots instead.
"This problem has been plaguing Windows 11 users for more than two years," the authors of the publication noted. Their colleagues from TechRadar emphasized that problems of this kind were noticeable in Windows 10. Microsoft said it was finally able to fix the bug - the fix is already available in the beta version of the OS, and it will be available to all users soon.
"The function of updating and shutting down the computer helps when you have a Windows update waiting to be installed, and you have already finished working with the computer," the media authors noted. According to them, it is very convenient when you can press the button and leave, and the computer itself completes the update process and shuts down.
At the end of September, it became known that Microsoft had spent a year fixing two Windows 11 bugs. In early autumn, the company reported that the Windows Hello face recognition problems and the Bluetooth bug had been fixed.
