The portal notes that Long March 10 is presented in two versions. The basic one is a three-stage carrier designed to launch the Mengzhou lunar manned spacecraft and the lunar lander. The Long March 10A variant is a partially reusable two-stage launch vehicle for Mengzhou launches into low Earth orbit to Tiangong Station.
In October, the Xinhua news agency reported that China had confirmed plans to put a man on the moon by 2030.
In September, the agency reported that China had successfully conducted static firing tests of the first stage of the Long March 10 rocket.
