OREANDA-NEWS. July 5, 2007. Kemerovo. OAO Koks started the construction project of the covered storage coal facilities on the territory adjacent to the main industrial area of the plant. The storage capacity will allow stowing up to 100 tons of coal concentrate there. It will triple the existing coal storehouse capacity and will create a substantial backlog of raw materials for the enterprise. The equipment supply contract was concluded with Solegorsk Institute of Resource Economy (the Republic of Belarus).

This institute has its own machine-building capacities and has been performed the orders of local mineral recourses enterprises so far. The crane facility will become the main component part of the storage complex. This crane does not require using the underground equipment, i.e. loading trays, conveyers, etc. It will lead to the significant reduction of the project expenses. The hipped construction of the storage hangar and usage of modern dust control systems will exclude the penetration of the coal dust into the atmosphere. Before starting the project, a part of the underground city service will be transferred from the area of construction.
