Tyumenneftegazsvyaz OJSC Is Out of Natural Monopolies Register
OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 March 2008 OJSC JSC Comstar-UTS announced that the Federal Tariff Service (FTS of Russia) removed the company Tyumenneftegazsvyaz (TNGS), a member of the JSC Comstar-UTS Group, from the register of objects of natural monopolies in the field of communications.
By order № 26-с issued by the FTS head, OJSC TNGS was excluded from Section II "Public Telecommunication Services", as subject to state regulation and control. TNGS, making part of JSC Comstar-UTS from 2005, is a leading alternative telecom operator in Tyumen Region. Embracing all the segments of telecommunications market in Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenetsky autonomous districts, TNGS provides a full range of present-day telecom services: digital fixed-line telephony, data transfer, ISDN, dial-up and broadband Internet, leased lines, plant design and construction. The Company provides zonal calling across Khanty-Mansi autonomous district. TNGS today includes 4 branches: Yugorsky, Priobsky, Samotlorsky and Yamalo-Nenetsky.
