OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2008. CJSC Transmashholding has launched an on-line shop in the Internet to sell products manufactured by its member-companies, first of all spare and component parts for sophisticated machine-building products, reported the press-centre of Transmashholding.

Transmashholding’s Internet shop is the first project of the kind implemented by a large Russian machine-building company.

Here is the link to the shop: http://app.tmholding.ru/TD_ISHOP/. As of now, the visitors can buy products of the Demikhovsky Engineering Plant, Kolomensky Zavod, Lugansk Diesel Locomotive Plant, Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant, and Penzadieselmash.

The site Content Management System has been independently designed by the Transmashholding IT Department staff, who used ASP.NET, an up-to-date and reliable software designed to make Internet applications. The Internet shop is a part of the Marketing Information Management System designed by Transmashholding specialists. The system incorporates all member-companies.

The Internet shop is designed for professional customers of the holding: the staff of purchasing departments of organizations using transport machines. The mechanism implied provides a simple and easily understandable procedure of making commercial offers and at the same time simplifies and makes automatic request processing carried out by the TMH Trading House members.

Transmashholding specialists tried to provide easy and reliable working environment for the site visitors, and also take into account the features of sales of machine-building products. The holding is pursuing new kinds of work on the market. It is using new technology not only to make cut-of-the-edge machines, but also to get closer to customers.

Transmashholding sales on the free market (besides JSC RZD) total around 30% of the total volume with 10% being exported.
