OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2009. The Government stands for reduction of transport rates for the owners of old automobiles which came in force January 10 of the current year. The First Vice Premier of Ukraine Olexandr Turchynov announced.

“Within the nearest time we will initiate respective changes to the legislation,” he maintained.

We won’t afford simple drivers, owners of old Zhigulis and Volgas, to suffer who will now have to pay such a sum of transport dues which increase the cost of car itself,” the First Vice Prime Minister promised.

Together with that he added, the Government wouldn’t initiate reconsidering of transport dues’ rates for the owners of luxurious big engine cars.
