OREANDA-NEWS. August 07, 2009. According to the information given by “Mingachevir HPP Chain”  which is the first huge hydro power engineering enterprise   by 400 MW to the Press-service of “Azerenergy” JSC, the production of electric power was about 376 million kWh during seven months of the current year. And it is 12 percent and 41 million kWh more  than predicted, reported the press-centre of Azerenergy.

The powermen achieved 320 000 kWh saving according to special power scarf during this period.

Beside it, repair work is also carried out  in the enterprise. Lets` note that, at present the  fourth  hydro aggregate is  in the capital repair, the III hydro aggregate is ready to the reconstruction work.

Each three hydro aggregates are  in the normal work regime in “Varvara” HPP.
Lets` remind that, “Mingachevir” HPP and “Varvara” HPP are included to the chain.
