OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2009. As it was informed in ANRE, which does not take into account the data on Transnistria for January-September 2009, the imports of diesel fuel to Moldova has amounted to 212,7 thousand tons, or 15.8% less as compared with the same period of 2008.

Imports of liquid gas to Moldova has decreased by 0.9% - up to 43,4 thousand tons. The specialists of the agency explain the decline in consumption of the diesel fuel in Moldova by the lower demand for this type of fuel at the transportation market.

The largest importers of gasoline and diesel fuel in Moldova in are: LUKOIL-Moldova, Petrom-Moldova and Tirex Petrol. In general, the share of these companies accounts for 65.7% of the total gasoline imports during this period.

The leading place on the import of the liquid gas belongs to LUKOIL-Moldova, Dominic, Konstaoil and Tirex Petrol. According to ANRE, in I half of 2009, 163 licensees were operating at the oil market of Moldova.
