OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2009. Mr. Nikolai Timofeev has been appointed Deputy CEO and head of partner sales channel of Allianz ROSNO Life. In his new position, Nikolai will be in charge for development of the company's effective partnership with banks, brokers and other business partners, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Mr. Nikolai Timofeev was born in 1979 in Leningrad. In 2001, he graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations by the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs, majoring in Finance and Credit. In 2004, he earned the FLMI degree (Fellow, Life Management Institute) in managing financial entities of the LOMA (Life Office Management Association), United States.

Nikolai has worked in insurance for over 9 years. In 2001 to 2006, he worked in the insurance company AIG Life, starting as an officer in the corporate insurance division and eventually becoming head of the corporate customer service sector. In 2006 to 2008, as a business development manager in the insurance company Aviva, he was in charge for intensifying cooperation with banks. In 2008 to 2009, he worked in AlphaStrakhovanie-Zhizn Ltd. as head of the Bank Sales Division and later was promoted to the position of Director of the Bank and Broker Sales Department.

In Allianz ROSNO Life, Nikolai will be in charge for developing cooperation with banks, brokers and other business partners under the adopted market management strategy based on creating relevant specialized products for each sales channel.

Therefore, growing sales via partner network is of top strategic priority for Allianz ROSNO Life. We expect that, in 2010, the share of sales via banks, brokers and other business partners will equal up to 30% of the company’s new business.
