OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2011. Baltikums Bank has changed the address of its registered office. From now on, the address is: Smilsu iela 6, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia, reported the press-centre of Baltikums Bank.

Customers and partners please note this when preparing agreements and other official documents which must specify the Bank’s registered office.

The change of registered Office is due to the Bank’s development and expansion of business. In 2012, the Bank intends to open its Central Office on Smilsu iela, one of the most important streets in Old Riga. The building was built specially for the Bank of Riga 1st Joint Credit Company; now, Baltikums Bank will continue its operations according to traditional values of European banks.

The building on Smilsu iela 6 was designed in 1910-1912 by architect Wilhelm Ludwig Nikolai Bockslaff and refurbished in 1991-1992 by architects Zane Kalinka, Peteris Klava un Andis Silis. The bank was built in rational Jugendstil with neoclassical decorative elements. The facade is decorated with gilded ornamental mosaics between the windows.

Until the relocation, the address of the Baltikums Bank Central Office remains unchanged: Maza Pils iela 13, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia.
