OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2012. JSC RusHydro (ticker symbol: MICEX-RTS, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY) won grand prix for best overall investor relations (IR) among Russian & CIS mid cap companies in Extel Pan-Europe 2012. Head of IR, Maxim Novikov, was ranked #1 among IR officers.

RusHydro's Chairman of the Management Board, Evgeny Dod, was ranked #2 for IR among CEOs. In sector rankings RusHydro was awarded 1st place among Russian utilities companies.

In a second consecutive year, RusHydro becomes a nominee of this prestigious award by IR Magazine Russia & CIS following the results of voting organized by Thomson Reuters Extel. Over 9,000 investors and 2,500 research analysts from all over the world took part in the survey. The winners among Russian and CIS companies have been chosen after vote count by 359 participants from 221 institutions (among them 37% are from Russia, 20% - from UK, 11% - from US). The online voting was held from March 19th to May 4th, 2012.

In 2011, RusHydro was ranked #1 among electric utilities companies, while Evgeny Dod was in the top-3 among CEOs.
