OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2013. A1 Investment Company informs about the appointment of Teymur Bagirov to the position of the Managing Director, the head of the office of A1 Investment Company in Ukraine. Mr. Bagirov will be responsible for implementation of the development strategy of A1 in Ukraine. The previous head of the office, Managing Director of A1, Taras Kutovoy, was elected a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Teymur Bagirov was born in 1973.

2011–2013 – a Member of the Board of Directors of Iskander Energy Corporation.

2010–2011 – the Head of the Group of Advisors to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economy Matters, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

2009–2010 – headed the Department for the Matters of Government Participation in Capitalization of Banks in the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

2002–2009 – Teymur Bagirov was a managing partner and one of the founders of ARTA Investments investment company, was responsible for activities of the company in the sphere of corporate finance and investment banking. 2001–2002 – worked as the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of TAS-Investbank, where he managed the affairs of investment banking and capital markets.

1998–2001 – worked in the Government of Ukraine as the adviser to the First Deputy Prime Minister, and later to the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Teymur Bagirov graduated from Kiev National Economic University (1995), completed a course of studies at the University of Vienna (1992-1994) and undertook a training course in Merrill Lynch bank, New-York (1997).
