OREANDA-NEWS. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) plans to invest in Belarus USD 125 million in 2013.

Head of the IFC representative office in Minsk Olga Shcherbina made a statement to this effect at the 3rd international forum Capital Market of Belarus on Thursday.

“The IFC has accomplished over 40 projects in Belarus with almost USD 400 million invested. The current investment portfolio stands at USD 170 million. 2011 was the peak year in terms of investments, when the IFC implemented in Belarus 8 projects worth USD 125 million,” Shcherbina informed.

Speaking about plans for 2013, Shcherbina hopes the IFC will reach the 2011 level.
