OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2013. Sberbank of Russia and the Hungarian Export-Import Bank, a specialized banking institution for the state support of exports, have signed a cooperation agreement. Sergey Gorkov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia, and Roland Natran, CEO of Eximbank Hungary, signed the document.

The agreement provides a base for mutual cooperation between the parties in international trade. Earlier a subsidiary of Sberbank in Hungary and Eximbank Hungary signed an agreement for a credit line, by which the subsidiary of Sberbank extends a credit line to exporters.

Sergey Gorkov commented: “Currently Hungary has one of the most effective systems in Central and Eastern Europe in supporting the activities of exporters. The agreement between Sberbank and Eximbank Hungary will give an impetus to the development of the Russian-Hungarian trade relationship”.
